The one plus pro maybe the super hype flagship, but let us take a look at the one plus 7.
I got my hands on a one plus 7 recently, the phone looks like an exact replica of one plus 6T. well it has a glossy back but for me, a matt finish would have been better, but there’s no denying that it is a well designed and well-built phone. The back on the one plus 7 is glass with gorilla glass protection, one plus 7 comes with gorilla glass 5 on the back and gorilla glass 6 on the front considering the one plus 7 pro has a gorilla glass 5. there’s metal. There’s a metal frame that features all the hardware stuff, the volume rockers, the power button, the alert slider, USB C port, the speakers, and a huge speaker grill on the top bezel too. The one plus 7 also comes with stereo speakers like the one plus 7 pros. One thing I don’t like is the big camera bump, this just looks weird, well that's the only issue I have with the design here, other than that the one plus 7 looks great and this gorgeous-looking back is complemented by the display upfront. The one plus 7 comes with 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED fullHD+ display and there’s a notch similar to the one plus 6T’s notch. Well, the notch is not intrusive at all, it blends perfectly with the display. For anyone wondering this is not the same display here as the one plus 7 pros, it's not QHD+, and also it does not have a 90 Hz refresh rate, but that doesn't mean it a bad display by any means. In fact, its a really good display, the colors are great, it can get really bright and the viewing angles are good too, its just a very nice display overall. Anyway, the one plus 7 also comes with the optical in-display fingerprint scanner, while one plus claims that it's much faster than its predecessor, and as it claims it lives up-to to its performance.
Camera:-Moving on to the cameras the one plus 7 comes with 48MP(f/1.7)+5MP(f/2.4) dual rear camera. The primary camera is the same as the one plus 7 pros and it takes decent pictures.in my brief time using the cameras look fine but its nothing extraordinary. When compared with the one plus 6T, we can see that there is almost no improvement even though there is a better 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, low-light performance look better though but that's about it. I also shot some videos from the one plus 7, and just like the 7 pros, it can record videos up-to 4K 60 Fps with OIS and that makes a big difference,
4K videos are very stable and if you shoot videos at 1080P its is even more stable, so things look good on the video front. next, there’s the 16MP(f/2.0) selfie camera and once again the camera performance looks decent. So far the camera performance of the one plus 7 looks fine, yeah it's not at par with flagships but at Rs 33,000 its looks decent.
Performance:-Moving on to the hardware and performance the one plus 7 comes with all the flagship specs you would expect from a 2019 flagship. There is Snapdragon 855 possessor paired with 8GB of ram(LPDDR4X) and 256 GB of storage and the faster UFS 3.0 storage just like the one plus 7 pro.with benchmark scores the one plus 7 is right up to the mark with the flagships out there.even in casual usage the phones seems the be blazing fast, there is no lag at all, whether its casual usage, internet surfing, switching apps or playing demanding games like the PUBG Mobile or Call Of Duty. The one plus 7 run PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile at max settings which I expected from this kind of hardware. The blazing-fast performance won’t surprise anyone at all as the one plus phones are some of the fastest phones out there and the one plus 7 is no different. The one plus 7 comes with the same Oxygen OS 9.5 based on Android Pie as the one plus 7 pro and brings all the same features as the native screen recorder, a new zen mode, and more. Overall the Oxygen OS brings some cool features and there some India Specific features coming soon. Anyway coming to the battery the one plus 7 comes with a 3700mAh same as the one plus 6T and well I am not been able to test the battery life here but I am pretty sure it won’t let me down. The phone supports WARP charge but it only supports 20Watt WARP charge and not the 30 Watt WARP charge as the one plus 7 pros but very fast though. One plus 7 went from 15% to 50% in 25 mins. Which is definitely nice.
So this was the one plus 7 and it looks like a phone to get as this brings many features like the one plus 7pro plus its price starting at just Rs 33,000 as compared to 49000 of the one plus 7 pros. Look if you are confused between the one plus 7 and the one plus 7 pros, I have to say these, if the marginally bigger battery, an Ultra-Wide angle camera and 90HZ QHD+ display worth RS 16000 to you the get the one plus 7 pro, otherwise the one plus 7 brings almost all the same features at a much more affordable price, and I think this is the better deal than the one plus 7 pros.
That's it the one plus 7 is having a lot of competition in the market, the ZenFone 6 and Redmi K20 pro with flagship-grade specs, bezel-less design, and almost the same price range.
Okay so that’s not enough for this beast but we can’t make it long. So, we will end it here. If you need to know anything regarding this comment down below, it will be replied soon.
